LYRA ALVIS
Lyra Alvis serves as the Business Development Manager at Bridges for Parkinson’s. She graduated from the University of Tennessee, Knoxville with a B.S. in Communication and a major in Public Relations through the Tombras School of Advertising and Public Relations.

Lyra first joined Bridges in 2022 as an assistant coach. After working closely with fighters and families, she transitioned into her current role to support the organization’s daily operations and ongoing growth. She enjoys seeing Bridges for Parkinson's expand its reach and strengthen the support it provides to the Parkinson’s community.

In her work, Lyra manages partnerships, fundraising support, outreach, and key administrative processes that help keep programs organized and running smoothly. She also assists with internal projects that enhance Bridges for Parkinson's systems and long-term sustainability.

Lyra values Bridges for Parkinson's client-centered approach and strives to reflect that same compassion and care in her work. Watching fighters grow, gain confidence, and build meaningful connections remains one of the most rewarding aspects of her role.

Outside of work, Lyra enjoys different creative projects, traveling, and exploring new spots around Nashville!
