About the event
Come learn guitar from legendary artists Gordon Kennedy, Fred Newell, Rich Gootee, and more! Participants will also discover adaptive tools and techniques from Belmont University’s School of Occupational Therapy, designed specifically to support fine motor skills and Parkinson’s-related challenges. We hope you will join us!
You do not have to have your own guitar! All levels are welcome!
Breakfast will be provided from 9:00–9:30 a.m., followed by the workshop from 9:30 a.m.–12:00 p.m. A detailed event schedule will be shared closer to the event date.
What Participants Will Receive:
A packet of guitar drills designed to improve fine motor skills
Parkinson’s-specific adaptive guitar accessories (such as modified picks and supportive tools)

Tickets are required for all attendees so that we can accurately prepare for the number of guests. Tickets are free for members and $25 for non-members, and ticket proceeds help us provide the best workshop experience possible. Please plan to attend, and let us know as soon as possible if your plans change and you’re no longer able to make it so we can prepare accordingly.
